Chicago Bulls at Golden State Warriors
After struggling to score points in the second half of January, the Bulls have found their scoring touch to begin the month of February. Indeed, the Bulls scored 101 at Sacramento on 2/2 and then managed a whopping 118 at Seattle in their next game, on 2/4. Facing the fast-tempo Warriors, who allow 108 points per game at home, they should be able to easily reach triple-digits again this evening. The Bulls will be coming off a game vs. the Blazers on Wednesday. Therefore, it's worth noting that they've seen the "over" go 4-2 the last six times that they played the second of back to back games. These teams faced each other at Chicago on 1/18 and combined for 230 points. The last time that they faced each other here in California was even higher-scoring as they combined for a whopping 244 points. The Warriors, who have had an unusually long break in between games, (last played on 2/1) have seen the "over" 8-1 their last nine games. All nine of those games produced a minimum of 210 combined points. This should be another shootout.
Taking OVER 212!
Good luck!
Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers
Miami is just not a good, will not be a good team and is in a terrible set of roles for this game. Miami is 1-10 ATS after playing 3 consecutive games as an underdog this season; 4-15 ATS when playing against a team with a losing record this season. Rookie forward Thaddeus Young has played a big role in the Sixers' offensive surge. The 12th overall pick in last year's draft has started three straight games, and is averaging 14.2 points in his last four contests. Plus, Iguodala had a huge game in the 76ers win over Miami in December. Marion is not expected to start until this Sunday so Miami`s offense and bench is fully depleeted.
Taking Philadelphia (-9.5)!
Good luck!
Cleveland Cavaliers at Houston Rockets
Cleveland has been on a roll. The Cavaliers have won nine of their last 11 games and five of its last 6 on the road, but has dropped five of the last 6 against the Rockets. Houston has also been hot. The Rockets are coming off a 92-86 victory at Minnesota on Monday, 8-1 in its last 9 games and has played impressive against the Cavaliers at the Toyota Center. Houston is 9-2 both straight-up and against the spread in its last 11 battles at home against Cleveland.
Taking Houston!
Good luck!
