Detroit has been playing great ball this season and has the 2nd best record in the NBA. Not surprisingly, the Pistons have had very few slumps en route to its 44-17 record. And its best pointspread role this season is off back-to-back ATS losses. In that situation, Detroit is 10-1 ATS, with an average margin of victory of over 17 ppg. Portland Trail Blazers at Milwaukee Bucks

Home court means a great deal to both these teams. The Blazers are an excellent 22-9 at home. However, they're just 9-21 on the road, including losses in eight of their last nine. The Bucks can relate. They've lost four straight and 11 of 12 on the road. Conversely, they've won four of their last five games here, going a perfect 6-0 ATS their last six. That includes outright victories over the likes of Cleveland, Denver and Detroit. For the season, the Bucks are now a respectable 17-12 at home. Most recently, they scored a season-high 118 points en route to a double-digit win over the Sonics. Charlie Villanueva, who went off for a season-high 32 points, expressed the confidence the Bucks are currently playing with, stating: "We definitely got it done. We're a tough team to beat when we're passing the ball like that. Guys did a tremendous job of finding the open man and guys made big shots. It was a good feeling." Not surprisingly, the Blazers "held serve" when they hosted the Bucks back in December, protecting their homecourt with a four point (overtime) victory. Look for the Bucks to return the favor this evening, building off Wednesday's victory and improving to 12-4 ATS after having scored 105 or more points in their previous game.

The Nuggets have won three of their last four at the Pepsi Center, 23-7 at home this season. But, the hot Spurs have won ten straight, playing strong defensively, allowing an average of just 87.1 points per game in that span. Utah forward Andrei Kirilenko will miss Friday's game at Phoenix and is doubtful for Saturday's home game against Denver. Kirilenko injured his right hip Monday when he was knocked down by Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki, who was called for a flagrant foul on the play. The NBA suspended Nowitzki for one game Wednesday.

Ottawa Senators at Los Angeles Kings

The Kings have the fewest points in the league. Conversely, despite their recent slide, the Senators are still only two points out of first place in the Eastern Conference. Normally, in situations involving a "good team" and a "bad team," the "line value" would be with the "bad" team. However, in this case, due to the fact that the Sens played last night, we're getting an extremely attractive price (solid value) with the "better" team. The Senators are a profitable 13-7 the last 20 times they played the second of back to back games, so that's not really that big an issue. Additionally, the fact that they lost last night should ensure that they're "hungry" tonight. Although they didn't play last night, the Kings are in a tough scheduling spot as they're playing their first game back home off a 4-game road trip.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls

Clubs meet for the second time this season. The first was Sunday in Cleveland when the Cavs outscored the Bulls 27-10 down the stretch to erase a 76-68 fourth quarter deficit and win 95-86. LeBron went for 37 with no one on the Bulls able to stop him when it counted. Cavs have won and covered seven of the last nine in this series with the Bulls 1-4 when playing with revenge.
