Sixers downed Denver 115-113 but did not cover as a 3.5-pt. chalk. Seattle SuperSonics at Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers are heavy favorites here. However, I feel that the situation favors the visiting Sonics. The Lakers come off four straight huge road games, facing the Hornets, Rockets, Mavericks and Jazz. They also have a big "home and home" series vs. the Warriors on deck. In other words, it will be easy to overlook the lowly Sonics. The game vs. the Jazz came last night, which is worth noting, as the Lakers lost outright as six point favorites the last time (2/29 at Portland) that they played the second of back to back games. The Sonics, who had last night off, have gone 4-1-1 ATS the last six meetings in this series, including back to back pointspread victories their last two trips to LA.

Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs

San Antonio finally got back in the win column last night with a blowout win over Chicago and I look for them to build off that game as they rock Sacramento this evening. The Spurs were also embarrassed last time out against the Kings as they were blown out of the building by a 112-99 final score. San Antonio also comes in this game off a loss in their last home game against Boston. Sacramento has been awful on the road of late as they are just 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight road games. Look for the Spurs to get out early in this one and never look book as they rout the Kings.

Memphis Grizzlies at New York Knicks

Both New York Knicks and the Memphis Grizzlies have been a disappointment this season. New York has lost nine of their last 10 games, five straight at home and a record of 19-48 this season, while Memphis has dropped 14 of its last 16 and is 16-51 this season. Memphis is allowing a deplorable 105.8 points per game and has played pitiable away from home. The Grizzlies have lost 18 straight road games, just four wins in 33 road games thus far this season. Go with the Knicks at home. The Grizzlies are the worse of the two depressing teams. New York has won and covered the spread in the last two meetings against Memphis. The Grizzlies are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games.
