The Avs will have "payback" on their minds as the Hawks have already beaten them twice this season. Playing on home ice, should provide an excellent opportunity to have their "revenge." While, the Blackhawks have won 10 of 23 road games this season. the Avalanche have won 17 of 26 games at home. Despite dealing with injuries, the Avs have remained competitive this month. The Hawks, on the other hand, have really struggled the past few weeks, going just 4-9 in 2008. That brings them to an ugly 10-29 (-17.2) in January the past few seasons.
